Estwanik And Dailey Claim 10-Mile Titles
Chris Estwanik triumphed in the RenaissanceRe 10-Mile Challenge to claim his eighth title today [April 14].
Estwanik completed the course in 54min 56sec, with Sean Trott, the defending champion, finishing second in 55:20 and Adam Prunty coming third in 58:30.
In the women’s race, Christine Dailey was first across the line, finishing in 1:05:26, with Estienne Coetzee second in 1:06:09 and Megan Berry third in 1:10:09.
Ronae Burgess won the 5-Mile Challenge in 34:35, with Richard Howells second in 36:07 and Kevin Topple third in 36:29.
In the women’s race, Sarah Ryan claimed top honours in 36:30. Seanna McDonald was runner-up in 39:01 and Georgia Wharton came third in 39:05.
In the 5-Mile Competitive Walk, Paul Hayward was the winner in 56:15, with Sanz Pearman coming second in 59:22 and Junior Watts rounding out the top three in 59:29.
Nancy Andrews-Sousa won the women’s race in 59:35.
