Warwick Workmen’s II Claim League Title
Warwick Workmen’s Club II – featuring captain Steven Bremar, Scott Barnes and Zane DeSilva – have claimed the Bermuda Snooker Association League title.
The trio drew 3-3 with Watford Sports Club I in their final game of the season last week to wrap up the triumph, losing just one game throughout their league campaign.
Barnes, who also helped the team win the Keen Cup and DeSilva Cup last season, said the league title was their top objective this time around.
“We were unable to defend our cups this year, but we really wanted the league,” Barnes told Bernews. “That was our main focus.
“We came close last year but had a slow start, losing a few games, but finished the season strongly.
“Thankfully, we continued that form into this season.”
