St. David’s Historical Society To Host Onion Day
The St. David’s Island Historical Society is set to host Onion Day at Carter House on Sunday, June 9, featuring fish chowder, an onion eating competition and more.
A spokesperson said, “Onion Day is Sunday, 9th June at noon until 3pm+ at Carter House that will feature the following:
- Gary Lamb’s famous fish chowder [$5]
- Grilled hot dogs on the open fire with fried onions and condiments [$5]
- Cakes and cookies free
- Drinks are free but we do request a donation
- Onion eating competition.
- Doll making and crafts. Lindy and her Ukelele
- Raffle $5 per ticket
