Squash Association Helps Clean Up Beach
The Bermuda Squash Association’s Junior Summer Camp held Keep Bermuda Beautiful beach cleanup at John Smith’s Bay this week.
A spokesperson said, “The camp has been visiting John Smith’s Bay each week while in session this summer, and Summer Camp Assistant Coach William Frith, 15 years old, came up with the idea of doing a beach clean up to give back to the community. ‘The kids did an amazing job. Competition for prizes for the biggest haul gave them extra motivation’.
“Members of the public asked to join in making the clean up a big success. Frith added special thanks to Abby Stuart at Keep Bermuda Beautiful and Melina Turk at Bermuda Squash Association for their help in making the clean up happen.”
