Adriana Penruddocke Finishes 35th And 26th

Bermuda sailor Adriana Penruddocke continued her campaign in the women’s dinghy at the Olympic Games in Paris today [August 2].

Penruddocke, competing in the ILCA 6 one-design class at the Marseille Marina, a port city in the south of France, about 776 kilometres from the French capital, came fourteenth in her first race yesterday and posted finishes of 35th and 26th today.

The fourth race of the series was abandoned because of a lack of wind.

The 24-year-old, making her Olympic debut, will continue racing tomorrow. She is in 26th place overall
