Kim Swan Reflects On Serving As Chairman
For the past three years Kim Swan, Junior Minister of Tourism, Culture & Sport has served as Chairman of the Bermuda Government Golf Courses [Port Royal & Ocean View] until September 4th, 2024.
“The former PGA European Tour member had been on medical leave since July 11th and Deputy Chairman Vincent Hollinsid presided over the golf courses during that period.
Mr. Swan said, “It has been a honour to serve and make a contribution to improve on the fine public golf facilities we have in Bermuda. I am eternally grateful to Premier E. David Burt and Minister of Works Lt Colonel David Burch for entrusting me with the this important quango.
“I was blessed with a dedicated team of fellow trustees who rolled up their sleeves and made an invaluable contribution for the betterment of an important government asset -assembling a good management team that are ensuring best practices, getting caught up with audits and marketing itself to grow daily fee rounds played.

“I offer my best to the staff and management of Ocean View and Port Royal – it’s been my honour to serve public golf in Bermuda that helped shape my life.
