The inaugural No School Is an Island Educators Conference will be held in February, 2025.

A spokesperson said, “The island of Bermuda is set to welcome educators, policymakers, and community youth leaders from across the Atlantic and Caribbean regions for the inaugural No School Is an Island Bermuda-Caribbean Regional Educators Conference. This milestone event, hosted by Chatmore British International School, Bermuda in association with the Council of British International Schools [COBIS], will take place at the Rosewood Tuckers Point from Wednesday 19 February to Thursday 20 February 2025. The Conference theme is Collaboration, Cohesion and Confidence.

“The education sector worldwide has faced immense challenges since the pandemic, with teacher shortages affecting many countries. Bermuda, currently undergoing its own process of education reform, is experiencing the strain of change and adjustment on teachers, students, families, and policymakers alike. An education conference here in Bermuda provides a vital opportunity for our community to gather, share insights, and find renewed hope. By connecting with educators from across the region, we can build collaborative relationships that support and uplift one another, bringing a sense of validation, shared purpose, and confidence to navigate this period of change together.
