Dame Flora Duffy Finishes Fourth In Dubai
Dame Flora Duffy has achieved her goal of earning a guaranteed contract after finishing fourth in the T100 World Triathlon Tour Series Final in Dubai today [November 16].
Duffy, racing in only her third race in the series this season, finishing ninth in Ibiza, Spain, and third in Las Vegas, finished the 100-kilometre distance [2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run] in 3hr 33min 05sec.
The Bermudian had splits of 26:39, 2:01:03 and 1:03:32, which was the fastest time.

American Taylor Knibb claimed the women’s title, having dominated every race this season, winning in Dubai in 3:29:17.
Julie Derron, of Switzerland, came second in 3:31:08, with Australian Ashleigh Gentle, third in 3:31:42.
Duffy finished fifth in the overall standings with 90 points from three races.
