Brianna Ray Inspires South Perth To Victory
Bermudian cricketer Brianna Ray impressed with bat and ball in South Perth’s one-wicket win over Wanneroo in the Australian Female A Grade competition at the Kingsway Sporting Complex in Western Australia.
Wanneroo, who won the toss, were bowled out for 164 from 37.4 overs, with seam bowler Ray taking one wicket for 22 runs. She also took a catch.
Chasing 165 for victory, South Perth scored 165 for nine from 39.3 overs, with Ray, batting at No 5, top scoring with 40 off 48 balls.
Her innings included two fours and two sixes.
