Video: Montgomery Scores In Knights Victory
Ice hockey player Blake Montgomery scored in the London Knights’ 7-2 win at home to the Erie Otters in Game Two of the Western Conference semi-finals yesterday [April 12].
Montgomery, who has been in fine form since joining the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November last year, slotted home to give the Knights a 3-1 lead.
Drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June last year, Montgomery spent the previous two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights finished top of the Western Conference, having won 55 of their 66 matches.
The series now shifts to Erie, Pennsylvania, with Game Three on Tuesday.
