The eighth annual Bermuda Piano Festival is set to take place at the Masterworks Museum in the Botanical Gardens from June 17 to 21.

A spokesperson said, “The Festival includes three concerts, free and open to the public, at Masterworks on Tuesday, June 17th, Thursday, June 19th, and Saturday, June 21st at 7:30pm, as well as a free masterclass and private lessons for local piano, violin, and cello students of all ages and levels.

“Alex Tuchman, the Artistic Director and Founder of the Bermuda Piano Festival, stated that this year’s Festival features four internationally acclaimed pianists, including Eteri Andjaparidze, Santiago Lomelín, and himself, as well as pianist TianYi Li in his Bermuda debut. Violinist Brian Fox of the Seattle Symphony and cellist Sumire Kudo of the New York Philharmonic will also perform. The programme includes works by Haydn, Debussy, Ravel, Granados, Piazzolla, and others.

“Tuchman also announced that people with confirmed dinner reservations at The Botanist Café & Garden Lounge for the date of one or more concerts will be entitled to a complimentary glass of prosecco and guaranteed a seat at that evening’s performance. The Botanist Café & Garden Lounge is located in the same building as Masterworks.

“More information about the concerts, as well as the registration form for the masterclass and lessons, can be found on the Festival’s website at www.bermudapianofestival.com.”
