Aaliyah Nolan To Retire From Football

Aaliyah Nolan has announced her retirement from international and club football.

Nolan has enjoyed an impressive season with Bradford City AFC Women in the North East Regional Women’s Football League Premier Division, scoring ten goals in 17 matches.

The 27-year-old, who featured for Bermuda in their Concacaf W Gold Cup qualifying campaign in 2023, scored 23 goals in 34 games for Bradford, having joined them at the start of last season.

She scored a hat-trick on her debut in a 5-2 win over Wakefield AFC Women.

The former Leeds United striker helped Bermuda win a gold medal at the International Island Games on home soil in 2013.

“We can confirm that former Bermuda international, Aaliyah Nolan has retired from football,” read an Bradford City AFC Women social media post.

“We want to thank you Aaliyah for her contribution over the past two seasons and wish her well for the future.”

Bradford finished second in the table this term.
