Videos: Bermuda Men Win Semi-Final
Bermuda’s under-23 men’s national team are through to the final of the Island Games after a thrilling 3-2 extra-time victory over Jersey in Orkney today [July 17].
They will face Ynys Môn in the final at 11.30am Bermuda time — a rematch of their fiery group stage clash that ended 2-2.
Coach John Barry Nusum’s side fell behind in the 20th minute when Jersey’s Harrison Moon opened the scoring.
Bermuda battled hard for an equaliser and finally broke through in the 84th minute, with Andrew Armstrong finding the net.
Just moments later, Bermuda had a golden opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot, but Hayden Dill’s effort was saved by the Jersey goalkeeper, sending the match into extra time.

Jersey struck first in the 104th minute through Sonny Cassidy, but Bermuda refused to back down.
Keyni Mills levelled in the 118th minute, setting the stage for a dramatic finale.
Then, in the dying seconds, Jace Donawa delivered the knockout blow, scoring the winner in the 120th minute to complete a sensational comeback.
