Sionna Barton To Lead Coaches Pledge In Japan
Sionna Barton, head coach of Jump 2B Fit and the Bermy Bouncers, will represent Bermuda by leading the official Coaches Pledge at the Opening Ceremonies in Japan, selected from over 2,100 global participants.
The Bermuda Heart Foundation said, “Huge honor! At the Opening Ceremonies and Parade of Nations in Japan next week, out of over 2,100 global competitors and coaches our very own Sionna Barton — Head Coach of our Jump 2B Fit program and leader of the unstoppable Bermy Bouncers — was chosen to lead the official coaches pledge! That’s right — of all the countries, Bermuda was selected. Sionna was selected.
“Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. She’s representing our island with grace, grit, and dedication.
“This is history in motion and a proud moment for every young athlete who dares to dream and all of their coaches that made this possible. Let’s keep the momentum going!
