Nahki Wells To Wear Number 21 At Luton
Luton Town have unveiled their official squad numbers for the upcoming season, with new signing Nahki Wells set to wear his customary number.
The announcement coincides with the launch of the Sky Bet League One side’s new home kit, now available both online and at the town centre store.
Wells, who joined Luton this summer from Championship outfit Bristol City, will wear the No 21 shirt – a number that has followed the Bermuda striker throughout much of his professional career.
He previously sported the same number during standout stints at Bradford City, Huddersfield Town, Burnley, and City, as well as during his second loan spell with Queens Park Rangers.
The 35-year-old has worn others earlier in his career. He donned No 29 during his time at Carlisle United – his first professional club—and No 32 during his initial loan spell at QPR.
Wells is expected to make his Luton debut today in their home fixture against Wimbledon.
