Devonshire Council Awards Five Scholarships
The Devonshire Parish Council has announced its scholarship recipients for the 2025/26 academic year, including Micah Hollis, Kaylee Almeida, Justin Welch, Shania Kassiram, and Dante Waldron.
A spokesperson said, “The Devonshire Parish Council is delighted to announce the recipients of its annual scholarship program for the academic year 2025/26. The Devonshire Parish Council Scholarship aims to empower and support outstanding individuals in their pursuit of higher education and foster a brighter future for our community.
“After careful consideration of numerous exceptional applicants, the Devonshire Parish Council is proud to award the scholarship to five deserving students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and achievements in their academic pursuits and have shown a deep commitment to making a positive impact in our community:
- Micah Hollis – BSc in Architecture with Honors
- Kaylee Almeida – BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and Medical Imaging with Honors
- Justin Welch – BSc in Community Development in Environmental and Sustainability Studies
- Shania Kassiram – Bsc of Law majoring in Legal Studies
- Dante Waldron – BSc of Commerce with Honors
