Hopkins Retains Yellow Jersey In Guadeloupe
Bermudian cyclist Kaden Hopkins retained the coveted Yellow Jersey as the overall leader of the 74th Tour Cycliste International de la Guadeloupe after completing Stage One.
Hopkins finished sixth in the 160-kilometer road race from Les Abymes to Saint-François. He crossed the line with the leading group, posting a time of 3:36:57, the same time credited to stage winner Delano Swenne.
His cumulative time in the Grand Championship is now 3:41:05 as he prepares for the next stage of the race.
