Bermuda Volleyball Team Wins Silver Medal

The Bermuda women’s national volleyball team have claimed a silver medal at the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association Women’s Final Four tournament in Antigua and Barbuda.

Bermuda also won four individual awards: Megan Hands [Best Server], Amber Simmons [Best Blocker], Kaylee Trott [Best Setter] and Natalie Gazzard [Second Best Spiker].

Bermuda were defeated 3-1 in the final by St Lucia, who claimed the spot for the NORCECA Panamerican Cup next year.

The final was a repeat of the final pool A match in which Bermuda beat St Lucia 3-2.

In the final, Bermuda won the first set 25-23 before St Lucia claimed the next three sets 25-20, 25-18, and 25-21.
