Air Traffic Issue Temporarily Disrupts Flights
The Bermuda Airport Authority confirmed that a brief communication issue between New York Air Traffic Control and the Bermuda Tower caused some flight delays this afternoon [Oct 31].
A Bermuda Airport Authority spokesperson said, “Further to previous EMO updates, kindly be advised we experienced an issue with communication between NY Air traffic control systems and the Bermuda Tower this afternoon.
“This resulted in some delays and slight disruption to east coast flights.
“The communication issues have now been resolved enabling flights to land safely in Bermuda.”
