Colm Singleton Joins Saltus Board

Saltus Grammar School has announced the appointment of alumnus Colm Singleton, Class of 1994, to its Board of Trustees.

A spokesperson said, “The Saltus Board of Trustees plays a vital role in the governance and strategic direction of the school, ensuring that Saltus continues to thrive as a leader in education. The current Board is chaired by E. Michael Leverock and includes Ian Cook, Kevin Dallas ’96, Alexander Green ’96, Amy Jagoda [Ex-Officio], Liam Moloney, and Sacha Simmons.

“Mr. Singleton brings a wealth of international experience and leadership to the Board. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of the Bermuda office at Allied World Assurance Company, Ltd., where he oversees Bermuda operations and leads the Bermuda and Global Markets claims group.

“Before joining Allied World, Mr. Singleton practiced law in London as an attorney with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, specializing in insurance litigation and arbitration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University and a Master of Law from New College, Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.

“Deeply committed to education and community service, Mr. Singleton also serves on the boards of the Bermuda Education Network and the Association of Bermuda International Companies. A proud Saltus alumnus and father of three current Saltus students, he is actively involved as a member of the Saltus Advancement Committee.”
