Couper And Dore Compete In Hawaii Ironman
Ashley Couper and Marie-Lyne Dore delivered impressive performances at the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Dore completed the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and 26.2-mile marathon in 10hr 22min and 7seconds, finishing 969th overall.
Her splits were 1:11:53 for the swim, 5:27:08 for the bike, and 3:32:04 for the run.
Dore finished eighth in the women’s 40-44 age group and 93rd among all female finishers.
Couper crossed the finish line in 11:07:06, placing 1,691st overall.
Her splits were 1:20:14 for the swim, 5:45:09 on the bike, and 3:44:50 for the run.
Couper placed 27th in the women’s 45-49 age group and was the 297th female finisher.



Just finishing is an accomplishment. Well done.
