Bermuda Harness Pony Racing Results
Bermuda’s National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street hosted the latest round of Harness Pony Racing, featuring competitive heats and strong performances from several top drivers.
Candyce Martins recorded the fastest time of the day in Heat 12, guiding Smart Machine to a season-best finish of 1:02&2. Martins narrowly edged Philip Correia, who drove Red October to 1:03 in the same heat. Correia had earlier won Heat 6 with Red October in 1:03&4.
Heat 7 saw a close contest between Teshi Zuill, driving Somegoldsomewhere, and Martins behind Double Time. Martins and Double Time posted 1:04&2 to finish just ahead of Zuill’s 1:04&4. The two drivers had previously recorded identical times of 1:06&4 in their first heat, highlighting their consistent pace.
Tahzii Flood also featured prominently, winning Heat 3 with Inwood’s Realist in 1:06&2 and posting strong performances with Huntinforgold, claiming victories in Heat 5 [1:07&3] and Heat 11 [1:06&4].
