Day One: Butterfield Bermuda Championship
Kenny Leseur leads the local contingent in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course yesterday [November 13].
Play was suspended late in the day during the opening round due to darkness, leaving all three Bermudian qualifiers [Will Haddrell and Oliver Betschart] still out on the course.
Canadian Adam Hadwin is the leader after a round of six-under par 65, including seven birdies.
Leseur sits tied in 58th at one-over par through 15 holes, with four birdies and five bogies.
He was tied in fourth after an impressive three-under par following his opening nine holes.
Haddrell is tied in 68th at two-over par through 15 holes, with his round including one birdie and three bogies.
Meanwhile, Betschart sits tied in 114th at six-over par through 15 holes. His round included two birdies and eight bogies.
