[Updated with video] The Corporation of St. George’s hosted the “Lighting of the Town” celebration on Saturday [Nov 29] at King’s Square.
Mayor Quinell Francis previously said, “We’re thrilled to welcome the community back for this special evening. The Lighting of the Town has always brought families and neighbors together, and reviving it during our UNESCO anniversary year feels especially meaningful. This season reminds us of what truly matters—community, kindness, and the light we share with one another.”
