Leverock To Compete In World Legends League

Kamau Leverock is scheduled to compete in the inaugural World Legends Pro League T20 cricket tournament in India later this month.

The talented Bermudian cricket player will represent the Pune Panthers in the 10-day event, which begins January 26 at the newly inaugurated 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium in Goa.

In addition to Kieron Pollard, the Panthers roster includes notable international players such as Dwayne Bravo and Sri Lankan batsman Upul Tharanga.

The Pune Panthers are scheduled to open their campaign on Jan. 27 against the Gurugram Thunders.

Following the opener, the Panthers face the Delhi Warriors on Jan. 28. After a rest day on Jan. 29, the team plays back-to-back matches against the Rajasthan Lions on Jan. 30 and the Dubai Royals on Jan. 31.

Leverock’s team will conclude the round-robin stage on Feb. 1 against the Maharashtra Thunders.

The top four teams from the league stage will advance to the knockout rounds. The semi-finals are scheduled for Feb. 3, featuring the first-place team against the fourth-place team, and the second-place team against the third.

The tournament final is set for Feb. 4.
