Representing the University of Toronto, the Bermudian swimmer surpassed several of his own short course benchmarks throughout the collegiate competition.

In the 100m butterfly preliminaries, Daley recorded a time of 52.81 seconds, breaking the previous record he set at the 2024 World Championships. He later lowered this mark a second time during the evening’s A Final, finishing fifth with a time of 52.56 seconds.

Daley also competed in the 200m butterfly, where he eclipsed a 2023 record during the heats with a time of 1:58.12. In the event final, he finished fourth in 1:57.32, breaking the record he had established earlier that day.

In the 200m individual medley, Daley qualified fifth for the final with a time of 1:59.37. During the final, he placed fifth in 1:58.91, a performance that broke the previous Bermuda national record he set at the Ontario University Championships.
