Bermuda FA Parts Ways With Michael Findlay
Michael Findlay has stepped down as head coach of Bermuda’s men’s national team after reaching a mutual agreement with the Bermuda Football Association, the governing body said today [March 16].
Findlay oversaw the senior national team during his tenure and provided support to Bermuda’s under-23 and under-20 teams.
During his tenure, Bermuda reached the preliminary round of the Concacaf Gold Cup and the final round of the Concacaf qualifiers for the 2026 Fifa World Cup.
The team also participated in the inaugural Fifa Series held in Saudi Arabia.
“We thank coach Findlay for his service to the game in Bermuda and for his commitment to the development of our national teams,” the BFA said in a statement.
“We are grateful for his experience and the role he played during an important period for the programme.”
Technical development director Maurice Lowe will oversee the senior men’s team programme during this month’s Fifa international window while the association’s Player Development Committee works to appoint a new head coach.
Bermuda are set to face the Democratic Republic of Congo in an international friendly in Guadalajara, Mexico, on March 25.
