Sunday May 3rd: “Good News” Spotlight
News that Bermuda hosted a successful royal visit by King Charles III, Conor Sinclair was honoured at Windsor Castle after earning the King’s Scout Award, and Daniel Phillips earned two AAC tennis honours were among the positive news stories from the past week.
In other good news, the Bermuda Walls Festival concluded with the Baileys Bay Project bringing art, community and culture together, Alexia Hurdle received two awards at the Emory & Henry University women’s rugby awards ceremony, the Bermuda Sea Cadet Corps held its annual prizegiving marking its 60th anniversary and Planet Math and Spirit of Math honoured students.
We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the King’s visit, the Convex End-to-End event, the Warwick Annual Fun Run & Walk, the volleyball team in the NORCECA event, the Warwick Community Spring Fair, and the Bermuda Walls Festival at Bailey’s Bay.
