Court: 19-Year-Old Charged With Firearm Offenses

A 19-year-old appeared in Magistrates Court today [Aug 20] charged with firearm offences alleged to be in connection with a shooting at Southampton Rangers Sports Club in May.
Josef Ferreira was charged with discharging bullets from a firearm on May 24.
He was also charged with conspiring to import a firearm into Bermuda without a valid licence between a date unknown and June 3.
The case will be heard in Supreme Court.
Mr Ferreira was remanded into custody and his next court appearance is scheduled for October 5.
