Yesterday’s Shooting Victim Airlifted Out
[Updated] 19 year old Princeton Burrows who was shot in the firearms incident that took place a few minutes before 4pm yesterday [Aug 23] at the junction of Middle Road in Sandys and Woodlawn Road outside Maximart is presently in serious condition in the ICU with lower torso injuries.
The Bermuda Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses; however they say “it would be remiss of the Service, if we did not take this opportunity to thank the public for their response to this incident thus far, as there has been no shortage of individuals coming forward. This is a very encouraging sign as the community is doing their part to assist the police.” Anyone who can further assist in this matter is asked to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 2950011.
Update 4:15pm: It has been confirmed that the young man has been airlifted out of Bermuda. Bernews joins with the wider Bermuda community in wishing the best for Mr Burrows to make a full recovery.
