Police Report Burglary-Free Weekend

The Bermuda Police stated that they received no reports of burglaries this past weekend, which is a welcome change from the standard weekend reports which normally involve at least one burglary, if not more.

In addition, there were no shootings or serious road traffic accidents, however the weekend was marred by two serious incidents; the armed robbery of a 31-year-old female tourist, as well as the beating and robbery of a taxi driver by four men, for which two men have been arrested.

As far as traffic reports from the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, 14 reported accidents and 10 vehicles stolen.
