A.M. Best Co. yesterday [Oct. 11] affirmed the financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and issuer credit rating of “a-” of Bermuda-based Nissan Global Reinsurance, Ltd. Shootings: Four Arrests Made
The Police have arrested four men in connection with the recent spate of shootings, and said they are “working on the theory that all four incidents are connected.” Three of the suspects remain in custody and one has been bailed. 40-Yr-Old Man Stabbed, Suspect Arrested
A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 40-year-old man early this morning [Oct.12]. Bermuda Firm Acquires Danish Carriers
The Danish shipping and oil group A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S announced today [Oct. 12] it has sold its liquefied natural gas unit to Bermuda-based Teekay Corp. and the Japanese group Marubeni. Inflation Down Despite Energy Jump
Consumers paid 2.5 percent more in August 2011 than they did a year ago for the basket of goods and services included in the Consumer Price Index [CPI].
