Dept. Of Corrections Moving Headquarters
Effective next Wednesday [Feb.1] the Department of Corrections’ Headquarters will be moving from its current location on Happy Valley Road in Pembroke to the WEDCO Clocktower Mall in Dockyard.
A statement issued said, “For members of the public who need to make canteen payments for inmates, please be advised that from 1 February, the Accountant General’s cashiers’ desk, located on the ground floor of the Government Administration Building on Parliament Street, will be accepting monies.
“Payments will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. All payments must be accompanied by a canteen form. Personal cheques will not be accepted. Anyone with queries regarding canteen payments, please contact the Canteens/Statistical Officer at 295-4975.”
