Video: Gombeys On Palmetto Road
In traditional New Year’s fashion the Gombeys are making their way around the island today [Jan.2], helping to celebrate the beginning of a New Year.
One group is making their way from one end of Palmetto Road to the other, while another group crossed Palmetto Road at the same time, heading from Glebe Road over to Friswells Hill. As normal Bermudians are out following the Gombeys, dancing to the rhythmic beat of the drums.
Such a joy to watch to all who participate keep it up and well done
