Video: Jack Daniels Golf Tour Kicks Off
The Jack Daniels Tour got off to a flying start yesterday [Feb.13] at the Tuckers Point Club in blustery conditions. The golf course was in great shape and Chaka DeSilva took full advantage shooting a 67 (-3) to finish ahead of Dwayne Pearman 69 (-1) and Daniel Augustus who shot a solid even par 70.
Twilton Smith 73 and Scott Roy 75 rounded out the top 5 players. DeSilva birdied the first hole to get things rolling and then made birdies on holes 7,8,10,11,15 and 17 with Bogeys on 3,5,6 and 12. Pearman shot an even par 35 the front and 1 under 34 on the back. Augustus fired a 3 under 32 on the front nine and just couldn’t keep the momentum on the back posting a 3 over 38.
