Boxing: Nikki Bascome Wins In Orlando
Bermuda’s Nikki Bascome defeated Kurt Alfonso in Orlando in front of onlookers that included a large assembly of Bermudians who traveled just to see the bout.
Bascome, who trains with Coach Allan “40″ Rego, was the headliner at the event. In 2010, Bascome won a Gold Medal at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic in Ohio and also won Florida’s Platinum Gloves Tournament.
