Tropical Storm Nadine Forms In The Atlantic

Tropical Storm Nadine — the 14th named storm of the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane Season — has formed in the Atlantic. The Miami-based National Hurricane Center said that Nadine is presently carrying maximum sustained winds of 45mph, and could become a hurricane by Thursday.

The Bermuda Weather Service said Nadine is not a threat to Bermuda at this time, and its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hrs [3 days] is forecast to be 591 nm to the ESE at 3am on Saturday September 15, 2012.
