Videos: Speeches At PLP’s “Big Night” Event

PLP candidates, MPs and supporters made their way to the Ruth Seaton James auditorium last night [Oct 17] for the second night of the PLP’s Annual Delegates Conference.

Speakers included Neville Tyrrell, Dale Butler, Dame Jennifer Smith, Deputy Leader Derrick Burgess and Premier Paula Cox who indicated that the election would be held this year, and also said they are “committed” to “move away” from conscription in the Bermuda Regiment. The PLP’s Conference continues this evening, where all the Party’s executive positions [except for Leader and Deputy Leader] are up for re-election.
