  21. Truth is killin' me... says:

    I have never in all my life living in Bermuda seen as many missing persons or murders as I have seen in the past 5 years. I am mad as hell about all this bullsh*t and pray that this man is returned safely to his family. First North Shore and then this. This island needs to change! Damn…damn…damn!!!

    • Bee says:

      You don’t even know what happened to him,why are u mad as hell. don’t be so negative.this does not necessarily mean that someone deliberately did something bad to him unless you have more facts than anybody else.

      • Truth is killin' me... says:

        Where you been living Bee. Sounds like it’s not the same place I’m living. Sh*t pops off every other day round this place and it never used to be like this. You got seniors scared to come outta their houses at night or answer their doors and young kids getting inside before dark. Keep dreamin’ and unstick your head from Horshoe Bay!!!

        • Smh says:

          @Truth- PLEASE SHUT UP!

          You have absolutely no idea what happened. Him and his punt are missing, therefore ANYTHING could have happened. So do the friends and family of Mr. Spencer a favor and take your assumptions elsewhere!

        • Logic76 says:

          If you recall there was an Italian waiter who worked at Portofino years back who passed away in a similar incident while rowing to his live-aboard boat. This isn’t necessarily foul play; most likely it isn’t.

  22. jennifer says:

    gee so unreal,i have known him and his wife for so long,i just finished talking to both of them at the hotel they work, was socked to see them,i laughed and said you know you are one good man,and your wife. well i have never seen two people in love even after all these years,and always toghter,this is how it should be for everyone in marriage they where a prime example of two people toghterness,i cant beleive this,i know his wife must be beside herself right now,i pray that nothing has happened,he smiled all the time,always had kind words for you,and a warm way about it,i cant think that someone would do something to him,and if that the case well i hope they deal with that person.went school with his wife and watched them over the years of there lives and always found them both to be two sweet people,i always said i would love to find someone like him,i used to say,telling his wife its hard to find a good man,i pray for his safe return to his wife and family,cause if they sure will miss him,and i know i sure will miss him too,and his kind words and smile.

  23. Edna Simmons says:

    We love you and we are praying for Derek’s safe return.
