Small Fire Extinguished At St David’s Home

December 24, 2012

Shortly after 5.30pm today [Dec 24], the Bermuda Fire Service responded to a report of a house fire in the area of Great Bay Road in St. David’s.

Upon arrival, fire fighters were met with smoke issuing out of a lower level apartment. Equipped with breathing apparatus, firemen were seen entering the premises and found what we understand to be a small kitchen fire.

The fire was extinguished and a smoke extractor was used to clear the residence of any remaining smoke. Details are limited, however we understand no one was injured in the incident.

That’s good news no one was injured. So sad this has to happen let alone on Christmas Eve. Just terrible.
