Devonshire Cougars Advance In FA Cup

The Bermuda Football Association’s F.A. Challenge Cup got underway at the BAA field yesterday [Jan 19], with the Devonshire Cougars defeating BAA 6 – 2.

Chris Caisey got the Devonshire Cougars off to a fast start when he scored in the 10th minute, Kenny DeSilva doubled the lead two minutes later. Vance Hill pulled a goal back for BAA in the 36th minute to make the score 2 – 1 at the half.

Drewonde Bascome restored the Devonshire Cougars two goal advantage when he scored in the 53rd minute, before Jesse Seymour made it 4 – 1 when he found the back of the net in the 73rd minute.

Torico Caines-Dill pulled BAA back into the contest when he scored in the 79th minute, but DeSilva found the back of the net for a second time on the match and when Zico White scored in the final minute the Devonshire Cougars came away with the 6 – 2 win.
