Photos: Olde Towne Market Gets Underway

April 8, 2013

The first Olde Towne Market of the season was held on Sunday [Apr 7] on Water Street in St. George’s, with 24 vendors having signed up for the season thus far.

The market is a joint venture born from the activism of those who are interested in seeing the revitalization of St George’s, and will run on Sundays between 2pm – 6pm on Water Street in St. George’s until 28th July.

The inclement weather did not deter vendors or shoppers from making their way to the old town as the skies cleared for the event. Items that were available included handmade Bermuda cedar items, home baked goods, jewelry, handmade cold process soap, organic food, tea towels, handmade body scrubs with local ingredients and more.
