Upcoming: Summer Art Walk At The East End

May 31, 2013

St. George’s has become something of an artists’ haven in recent years with galleries and studios popping up throughout the Olde Town’s winding streets.

On June 15, the St. George’s Events Committee will be hosting its first ever Summer Art Walk in the East from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

“A self guided-walking tour, the Art Walk in the East promotes the arts in all forms including, but not limited to: pottery making, cedar carvings, paintings, weaving, local film, singing, dancing, instrumental and spoken word,” said a spokesperson. “All artists are invited to show their wares inside participating businesses, as street vendors or at satellite stages placed around the town.”

This year the Bermuda National Gallery will be opening their new satellite gallery in the Bridge House in St. George’s. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
