Nahki Wells To Have Scan Today On Injured Foot

September 30, 2013

Bermudian striker Nahki Wells will have a scan on his injured foot this Monday afternoon [Sept 30] as Bradford City aim to find out the exact nature of the 23-year-old’s injury.

Wells was forced to limp off midway through the first period of Saturday’s victory over Shrewsbury Town after taking a kick from Shrews defender Dave Winfield as the pair contested for the ball.

Bradford City said they are hopeful that this Monday’s scan will give them a clear idea of the full extent of the damage caused to Wells and the likely time period that the striker will be sidelined for. The results of the scan should be known within the next day or so at the latest.
