Video: Estwanik, Allen Win Crime Stoppers Race
[Updated with video] Stephen Allen and Ashley Estwanik are the 2013 Male and Female Crime Stoppers 5K Champions after racing to victory this morning [Oct 20]. Jahkeylo Burgess and Mikaela Outerbridge also romped to victory, wnning the Junior Crime Stoppers 1.5 mile race.
Allen clocked a time of 17:49 on his way to victory, while Evan Naude finished second with a time of 18:01 and Jose Miranda rounded out the top three finishers clocking 19:09.
Estwanik finished 7th overall crossing the line in a time of 20:07, Krista Dyer was the second female finisher and 21st overall with a time of 22:38 and Rose-Anna Hoey finished as the third female finisher and 24th overall clocking a time of 22:53.
Burgess ran the 1.5 Mile distance in a time of 8:57, while Ryan Outerbridge finished second in a time of 8:58 and Alex Pilgrim finished third in 9:02.
Outerbridge crossed the line 15th overall recording a time of 9:56, while Selah Tuzo finished as the second female Junior finisher with a time of 10:07 crossing the line 18th overall and Rebecca Harrison was the third Junior female finisher and 22nd overall clocking a time of 10:20.
