“We continue to encourage excellence through our Academic Accountability Programme and S-K-ILLS Character Enhancement Programme. One of our objectives is to encourage excellence and institute Awards of Excellence and Scholarships for the deserving participants actively enrolled in our Jiketsu Centre Programmes.

An important part of the application process involves the completion of a specially designed report card by the child’s parents and teachers that are later reviewed by our Scholarship Committee.”

“The primary purpose of Jiketsu Foundation is to promote the ancient disciplines of Martial Arts and Whole Brain Thinking Techniques in Bermuda as a valuable and inexhaustible paradigm of educational and character enhancement for children and adults,” continued Bean.

“Moreover, the programmes and unique techniques offered through the Foundation are designed to develop confident and balanced citizens of this diverse community—and the world at large.”
