Photos: Bermuda Race Weekend 10K Finish Line

Some 774 runners finished the 2015 Bermuda Race Weekend 10k road race on Saturday morning [Jan 17] with Kenya’s Benjamin Meto and the USA’s Heather Kampf racing to victory.

Lamont Marshall was 2nd overall and the first Bermudian across the line, Diriba Yigezu from Ethiopia finished 3rd, Bryan Huberty from the USA was 4th, Heather Kampf was 5th overall and the top female, and 16-year-old Tyler Smith from Bermuda finished 6th overall.

Bermuda Winter Olympian Dr Tucker Murphy placed 7th, while Deon Breary was the top Bermuda female, finishing 32nd overall with a time of 41:32. 80-year-old David Hoffman from the USA finished 646th becoming the oldest runner to cross the finish line, while 74-year-old Eiko Sakamoto from California was the oldest female runner to finish, placing 737th.
