Bermuda Bible Society To Host Annual HikeBike

March 19, 2015

The Bermuda Bible Society’s annual HikeBike Fundraiser is set for March 28, 2015, leaving at 10.00 from the Botanical Gardens and heading west to Somerset Bus Terminal.

This event aims to provide “a great activity for churches and youth groups to come out for a fun outing along Bermuda’s Rail Way Trails.”

A spokesperson said, “This is an annual event for the Bermuda Bible Society. We call it a HikeBike, because you can either walk or ride your pushbikes. Last year we had a short walk, and all the participants wanted it longer.”

“This year, we are starting from Botanical Gardens, heading West to Somerset Bus Terminal; think of it as prep for the Middle To End.

“We want to encourage youth groups, churches and other organizations to come out as a group and experience the wealth and beauty of Bermuda. To encourage our young people, you can use the hashtag #hikebike4bibles to show us how your group is doing.”

Registration costs $5 and is open to everyone, including individuals, families, and groups. There will be a registration collection day on March 26 from 11.00am to 2.00pm at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Hall.
