[Updated with video] The Bermuda SPCA hosted their ‘Paws to the Park’ event today [March 1] at St. Paul’s Church in Paget, with the event kicking off with a dog walk, which saw participants walking to raise funds.

In describing the event previously, a spokesperson said, “Your fundraising efforts will be rewarded! The first 100 people to register will receive a free Tote Bag. The Bermuda Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals [SPCA] was founded in 1919, and has a stated mission to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals; promote the education of the general public on the care and well being of all animals; and encourage and promote kindness to animals.
