Mr. Williams said, ”St John Ambulance is grateful to Major Curley, Ronnie DeSilva and Roddy Gray for their dedicated service to St John and the community. Ronnie has contributed countless hours to training members of the public, businesses and organisations on the Island, most recently the Americas Cup teams, in first aid and CPR.

“Major Curley has provided an invaluable liason between the Royal Bermuda Regiment and St John helping to coordinate disaster preparedness and the induction of new members, Roddy has for many years overseen the finances of St John on a voluntary basis.

“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Commissioner Gareath Adderley and Deputy Commissioner Jeffrey Borges who run St John operationally and the approximately 50 volunteers and Brigade members who ensure that the community is protected free of charge by voluntary ambulance services, first aid and CPR.

“St John looks forward to continuing to serve the Bermuda in years to come.”
